How Much Does House Cleaning Cost in Cincinnati?

A plain breakdown of what a professional clean costs in Greater Cincinnati, by home size, frequency and type of clean.

A bright, freshly cleaned open-plan kitchen in an upscale Cincinnati-area home, white quartz island with a bowl of lemons, polished stainless range, light oak floors gleaming in late-morning sun through tall windows, a folded microfiber cloth and spray bottle resting on the counter edge

A one-time standard house clean with Loveland Cleaning starts at $155 before tax for a 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom home under 1,500 sq ft. The price goes up with bedrooms, bathrooms and square footage, and comes down from the second visit if you book a recurring plan. Deep cleans and move-in/move-out cleans cost more, and every price is shown online before you book.

Pricing can feel like a black box with cleaning companies: vague estimates, callbacks, surprises at checkout. This post lays it out so you know what to expect before you book.

Cincinnati house cleaning prices by home size

Every quote is built from three inputs:

  • Bedrooms set the base price: 1 bed $155, 2 bed $185, 3 bed $220, 4 bed $270, 5 bed $295, 6 bed $320.
  • Bathrooms: the base includes one; each extra bathroom adds $20.
  • Square footage: nothing extra under 1,500 sq ft; +$25 at 1,500–1,999; +$40 at 2,000–2,499; +$60 at 2,500–2,999; +$100 at 3,000–4,999; +$200 at 5,000–6,999.

Here is what that works out to for common Cincinnati-area homes. Recurring prices apply from the second visit; all prices are before tax.

Recurring cleaning

Recurring cleaning covers the whole home on every visit: kitchen, bathrooms, living areas, bedrooms, floors and high-touch surfaces. Your first visit is full price; from the second visit on, the discount depends on how often we come:

  • Weekly: 20% off. Best for busy families, homes with kids or pets, or anyone who wants the house guest-ready all the time.
  • Every 2 weeks: 15% off. The middle ground. Keeps most homes in good shape between visits.
  • Every 4 weeks: 10% off. Good for smaller homes, or people who keep up with things themselves and want a thorough reset each month.

There is no long-term contract. Cancellations and reschedules need 48 hours’ notice; less notice than that may carry a fee of up to 50%, and a same-day cancellation or no-show may be charged in full.

First-time cleaning

If your home has not been professionally cleaned recently, the first visit takes more work than a maintenance clean. A first-time clean adds that extra detail to the first visit only: $100 for 1–2 bedrooms, $150 for 3–4, $200 for 5 and $250 for 6. After that, you are on your regular rate.

First Time Clean (deep cleaning)

Our First Time Clean, what many companies call a deep clean, goes further than a standard visit: baseboards, window sills, door frames and furniture. New clients start with one. It is priced from your home size and shown before you book.

Inside the oven and inside the fridge are add-ons on a First Time Clean, not included. Add them if you want them.

Move-in / move-out cleaning

Move-in and move-out cleans are built for an empty property and include inside the oven, inside the fridge (empty) and inside cabinets and drawers. On top of the standard price for the home, they add:

BedroomsMove-in/out adds
1–2$150
3$200
4$250
5$300
6$350

So a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home of 1,500–1,999 sq ft comes to $265 + $200 = $465 before tax. Move-in cleans follow the same standard. You should not have to clean someone else’s house before you can settle into your own.

Add-ons

Add-onPrice
Inside fridge$20 empty / $50 full
Inside oven$20
Inside cabinets$20
Walls$60
Interior windows$60
Blinds$10 each
Pets in the home$20 per visit

What else affects the final price?

  • Sales tax: 7.8% is added at checkout.
  • Same-day booking: +$150.
  • Condition of the home: the price you see is based on what you describe. It can change only if the home turns out to be very different from that description.

Is house cleaning worth the cost?

That depends on how you value your time. Research published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences found that spending money on time-saving services is associated with greater life satisfaction across income levels, more so than spending the same amount on material things. For a lot of households the real benefit is not the clean house itself; it is one less job competing for space in the week.

Every Loveland Cleaning cleaner is background-checked, and the company is insured. If something was missed, tell us within 24 hours and we come back to fix it at no charge. See the guarantee for details.

How much does move-out cleaning cost in Cincinnati?

What affects the price of house cleaning in Cincinnati?
Bedrooms, bathrooms, square footage, how often you book, and add-ons such as inside the oven, inside the fridge, inside cabinets, interior windows, walls and blinds. A first-time clean for a home not professionally cleaned recently adds to the first visit. Ohio sales tax of 7.8% is added at checkout.
Why does the first cleaning cost more?

How do I get an exact price for house cleaning?
Go to the booking page, enter your bedrooms, bathrooms, square footage and any add-ons, and your price is shown before you book. The final price only changes if the home turns out to be very different from what was described.
