Your first clean, step by step

  1. I

    When you book

    • Choose your home size, the type of clean and how often. Your price is shown before you confirm.
    • If your home hasn't had a professional clean in the past month, you start with a First Time Clean. It adds a one-time charge of $100–$250, depending on size, for the extra detail a first visit needs.
    • We hold your booking with a valid credit or debit card. You are not charged yet.
  2. II

    The day before

    • A temporary authorization hold is placed on your card about 24 hours before your appointment. It is a hold, not a charge.
    • Pick up clutter where you can, so we spend the time cleaning rather than tidying.
    • Tell us about pets, alarm codes, parking and anything fragile.
  3. III

    On the day

    • Your background-checked cleaner arrives with professional products and all the equipment.
    • You do not need to be home. Many clients leave a key, lockbox or garage code. Keys are labeled with a code only, never your name or address.
    • A First Time Clean of a 2-bedroom home usually takes about 3 hours. A 4-bedroom home takes 5 to 6 hours.
  4. IV

    After your clean

    • Your card is charged the day after your clean is completed.
    • If you're not happy with an area, tell us within 24 hours and we'll schedule a re-clean at no charge.
    • On a recurring plan, your discount starts from your second visit.

Questions about your first clean

Do I need to be home for my first clean?
No. You can be home, or give us access with a key, lockbox or garage code. Access details are kept confidential and shared only with your cleaning team.
Do I need to provide supplies?
No. Your cleaner brings professional-grade products and all the equipment needed.
Why is there a First Time Clean charge?
A home that has not been professionally cleaned recently needs more time to remove build-up on baseboards, fixtures and appliances. The First Time Clean is a one-time charge of $100–$250, depending on the number of bedrooms. We do not add it to later visits.
When am I charged?
We place a temporary hold on your card about 24 hours before your appointment, and your card is charged the day after your clean is completed. Prices are before Ohio sales tax.
